It's a long road, I know. We still often have slightly wet underwear, the occasional accident and the occasional battle, almost 10 months in, but it's far better than it was. Nighttime's a different story, but that will come. And a hint for peeing outside, given to me by Elliot's daycare provider, also the mother of a boy...you don't have to hold his penis. Just get him to arch his back a bit, and the pee naturally goes the direction you want it to (i.e. away from the clothing). Congrats! It’s a long road, I know. Congrats on the toilet training. We are just at that stage with Elise...she just ran out of pullups and is starting to sleep without them, so hopefully this will direct her to complete her own toilet training.
